Felipe Benjumea Llorente
Born in Seville, Felipe Benjumea holds a Law Degree from Deusto University, in Bilbao, and expanded his education in Economy at The Economics Institute, Boulder/Colorado, USA. His career has always been dedicated to renewable energies. In 1983, he joined the Board of Directors of Abengoa, and he took the Presidency in 1991, position that he held until 2015. During those years, the company expanded around the world, turning Abengoa into a reference multinational in the renewable energies industry, with a firm commitment to R&D&I. He joined H2B2 in October 2016 as a strategic advisor, and he was appointed President in November 2018. In parallel with his executive responsibilities, he has also held positions on the Boards of Trustees of many foundations dedicated to promoting arts and education, and he has been a member in different Boards of Directors of important companies in the fields of aviation, telecommunications and finance, among others.
Javier holds a PhD from Pablo de Olavide University, Seville, is a Telecommunications Engineer by the University of Seville, and has completed a PDD (Management Development Program) at the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. He has been involved in the hydrogen and fuel cell sector since 1998, having led projects, published numerous articles and patented several inventions in this field. He was CEO of Abengoa’s hydrogen and fuel cell companies from 2001 to 2016, the year in which he branched out to establish H2B2. He is vice-chairman of the European Hydrogen Association (EHA), chairman of the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2), vice-chairman of the Spanish Fuel Cell Association (Appice) and secretary to the Spanish Technology Platform on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (PTE-HPC). He is also associate professor at Loyola University Andalusia.

Jim Corboy is an accomplished investment banker, commercial advisor and industry mentor with a proven track record of success in business development and capital formation transaction services. Since 2010 he has focused his energy on utility-scale power infrastructure projects in North America. Jim has served as a commercial review panelist for the U,S. National Science Foundation Phase II SBIR grant applications; and with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy I-Corps program, most recently mentoring a team from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory evaluating new concepts for compressed air energy storage. Jim is a 2016 graduate of the Energy Fellows Institute sponsored by NREL and the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association. He received a BA from Allegheny College, Meadville, Pennsylvania in 1962; and a MBA at University of Colorado in 1986.

Blanca holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Fordham University in New York as well as the Grand Diplome from Le Cordon Bleu.She began working in accounting at KPMG in the Madrid office and later on worked in Consulting in the New York office.Prior to joining H2B2 Blanca worked in Consulting in the food industry.

Africa is an Industrial Engineer with a Master in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency by the University of Zaragoza, and has completed a PDD (Management Development Program) at the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra. She has been working in energy innovation for 20 years, with the last 15 dedicated to hydrogen and fuel cells. She has held positions of responsibility in the fields of technological innovation, corporate strategy and institutional relations at regional, national and international levels. She is director of the hydrogen production by electrolysis working group of the Spanish Technology Platform on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (PTE-HPC) and is an expert in working groups at European level (FCH JU).
Juan Manuel López-Gallego

Juan Manuel is an Industrial Engineer by the University of Madrid and holds more than 20 years of experience in the development of mechanical systems, deployment of different kinds of production plants and project management as well as business development in several companies worldwide. He also has a high proficiency in several languages.
He started working as a design technician (CAD), becoming later development and production manager, taking care of all the technical and manufacturing issues for different equipment orders. He has been developing and managing production of different engineering equipment, as project and technical manager of different companies related with environment, energy, infrastructures and, in general, all kinds of industrial machinery.
Bid Manager H2B2
Covadonga holds a degree in Industrial Engineering by the University of Seville, a Diploma in Advanced Studies in control systems by the University of Huelva, and has completed a PDD (Management Development Program) at Loyola University Andalusia. She has almost 15 years of experience in the hydrogen and fuel cell sector. She is responsible for project control, preparation of bids, negotiation of contracts, and technical-economic justification for innovation projects. She is head of the bids department and special projects section at H2B2, with experience in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Ingeniering and Control Manager H2B2
Delia is an Industrial Engineer by the University of Seville, specialized in Industrial Automatics; she has also completed a PMP (Project Management Professional) at Seville Chamber of Commerce. She has more than 12 years of experience in projects based on hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. From 2012 she was project manager of the aerospace division at Abengoa Hidrogeno, leading projects focused on the use of hydrogen technologies for aerospace and defense applications, including all the phases of a project: Engineering, construction and testing; implementation, monitoring and control of timelines, budget management, risk management, contracts and purchase orders. Currently, she works in the bid and special projects department at H2B2.
Manufacturing Manager H2B2
Manuel is Mechanical Engineer by the University of Seville. He started working as project engineer specialized in the mechanical part. He has been working in numerous projects in their different stages: design, construction and start-up of industrial plants. He later became a development and production manager, taking care of all the technical and manufacturing issues for different equipment orders. Currently, he is head of manufacturing in the different hydrogen products developed by H2B2.
Anselmo holds a MSc Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc in Economics, Finance, and Management from Queen Mary, University of London. He began working in the Risk Management departments of Credit Agricole CA-CIB (Madrid) and Lloyds Bank (London). He has also worked in Debt Capital Markets at BBVA Corporate & Investment banking in London. After his experience in Banking, prior to joining H2B2 in 2016, Anselmo worked in Financial & Commodities Risk Consulting (Global/Wholesale Banking) in Management Solutions in London.
Felipe holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Saint Louis University, USA. He began working for Abeinsa (Abengoa), and ASA Iberoamerica´s Structured Finance team (Abengoa), before joining Natixis Corporate and Investment Bank in London. Felipe was part of H2B2 from the inception in 2016.
